Croatia has unveiled today a sequel to the new hit promotional tourism film, this time featuring football captain Luka Modrić alongside Hollywood actor John Malkovich.
The film, titled CROATIA – I hear it’s beautiful ft. Modrić & Malkovich, is the latest instalment in the country’s international tourism campaign and follows the original CROATIA – I hear it’s beautiful.
In the film, Malkovich, who has Croatian heritage, is introduced by Modrić to the Sea Organ in Zadar, one of Croatia’s best-known attractions.
Modrić also happens to be from Zadar.
The unique architectural installation uses the movement of the sea to create music, highlighting the country’s natural beauty and distinctive visitor experiences.
Through a light-hearted exchange between the two, the film promotes Croatia as a destination that can be enjoyed throughout the year, emphasising its diverse landscapes, attractions and tourism offer.
It also draws a symbolic connection between Croatia’s beauty and the elegance and skill of Modrić’s performances on the football pitch.
The project’s creative director is Pete Radovich, the award-winning television and sports producer of Croatian heritage, who also led the creative direction of the original campaign.
The campaign was produced in cooperation with the Croatian Football Federation, national team coach Zlatko Dalić, Luka Modrić and members of the Croatian national football team.
