Lorde is returning to Croatia in the summer of 2026, when she will perform at the Pula Arena on 18 August as part of her major Ultrasound world tour.

The announcement was confirmed in Zagreb today and marks the New Zealand artist’s first Croatian appearance in four years.

Her last visit in 2022 saw her sell out two concerts at St. Michael’s Fortress in Šibenik in just two minutes, highlighting her popularity among Croatian audiences.

This time, Lorde will take to one of Europe’s most spectacular open-air venues, the Roman amphitheatre in Pula, where she will perform a career-spanning set alongside material from her latest studio album, Virgin.

Born Ella Marija Lani Yelich-O’Connor in New Zealand, Lorde has Croatian heritage through her mother and holds dual citizenship.

Since emerging in 2013 at just 16 years old with the breakout hit Royals, she has redefined modern pop music with her minimalist sound and introspective songwriting.

Lorde has sold more than 18 million albums worldwide and amassed over 18 billion streams. She is a multi-Grammy Award winner and one of the youngest artists to top international charts, including the US Billboard Hot 100.

Her influence has been widely recognised by leading global publications. Time named her one of the world’s most influential teenagers, while Forbes included her on its 30 Under 30 list.

She has appeared on the cover of Rolling Stone and performed alongside Nirvana members at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame ceremony in 2014.

Lorde’s debut album Pure Heroine became a cultural landmark, earning triple-platinum status and winning two Grammy Awards.

The album spawned hits such as Royals, Tennis Court and Team, and made her the youngest solo artist, and the only New Zealander, to top the Billboard Hot 100 since 1987.

Her second album, Melodrama, debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 and topped charts in 45 countries. Featuring acclaimed singles Green Light and Perfect Places, the album received a Grammy nomination for Album of the Year and was later included by Rolling Stone among the greatest albums of all time.

Following the success of Solar Power, her critically praised return that topped charts worldwide, Lorde released her latest album Virgin. The record explores themes of maturity and identity through a synth-pop lens and includes singles What Was That, Man of the Year and Hammer.

The album has been widely praised and serves as the foundation for her current global tour.

Known for carefully selecting unique and atmospheric venues, Lorde’s choice of Pula Arena further reinforces Croatia’s status as a premier live-music destination.
