Lord Of The Dance Thrills Fans In Split

The most visited dance spectacle in the world, Michael Flatley’s Lord of the Dance, thrilled hundreds of fans in the Croatian city of Split last night.

The Irish musical Lord of the Dance, which has performed all over the world in the last 15 years including at the Oscar awards in 1997, performed at Split’s Arena Gripe.

Choreographer and producer Flatley found his first fame starring in Riverdance, but he left the show in late 1995 after a disagreement over creative control. He dreamed of putting together a dance show capable of playing in arenas and stadiums instead of traditional theatres.
