Lightning Strike Injures Women in Zadar

Daily Slobodna Dalmacija reports that lightning struck Zadar farmer’s markets early this morning, hitting two women who were selling produce at a stand. The women received injuries and were taken to Zadar hospital. On of the women sellers had her arm injured and hair burnt after she was struck from behind, where a power cord was connected, whilst the second women injured her leg in the strike. Both are in a stable condition.
