The 17-day event, which is all held on Međimurje’s well-known wine road, features wine fairs and a wine cellars open day.

According to locals it were the Romans who were the first to plant grapevines on the gentle hills of Međimurje. Today, Međimurje’s Wine Road, which winds through the beautiful landscape of central Croatia, connects around 30 wine cellars and tasting rooms with more than 2,500 acres of vineyards.
