Largest Ever Victory in Croatian Football Recorded

Croatian first division football side NK Rijeka has set a Croatian record on Wednesday for the largest ever victory. Rijeka beat 3rd division club Zmaj from Blato on the island of Korcula 11-0 in the last 16 of the Croatian Cup in Rijeka. The result, the largest ever in Croatian history, was not the only record set on the day. Rijeka striker Andrej Kramaric broke the record for the most amount of goals in a game when netted 8 times past Zmaj’s hapless keeper. The previous record was held by Mario Dodig and Duje Cop with 6 goals.
