Dinamo Kiev have sacked their coach Yuri Semin hours after his sides loss to arch rivals Shaktar Donetsk in the Ukraine Cup on Sunday.
Croatian and Shaktar captain Darijo Srna played his part to help get rid of Semin with a goal in his teams 4-1 win. Dynamo Kiev’s Croatian internationals Niko Kranjcar and Ognjen Vukojevic are now coach-less as their side prepare for next week’s UEFA Champions League tie against Croatian champions Dinamo Zagreb.
“I want to thank everyone who I worked with and wish them all the best in the future. We will announce shortly who will take over the team for the next match,” said Kiev bosses on the club’s official website.
