ZAGREB, 5 July 2026 – Croatia’s top-performing companies for their 2025 business results have been recognised at the 18th annual Zlatna Bilanca (Golden Balance Sheet) awards, presented by the Financial Agency (Fina).
Held under the high patronage of the Croatian Government, the awards recognise outstanding business performance across ten categories, covering company size, key economic sectors and overall business achievements.
The award for the most successful large company went to Končar – Distributivni i specijalni transformatori (Končar D&ST).
Other winners announced during the ceremony at Zagreb’s Esplanade Hotel included Tvornica stočne hrane from Čakovec as the most successful medium-sized company, Colas Mineral from Varaždin as the top small company and PSC Antares from Kostrena as the leading micro company.
The fastest-growing company award was presented to SATO from Zabok, while NEXE from Našice received the award for business continuity. Zagrebačka banka was named Croatia’s most successful bank.
Sector awards were also presented, with Koka recognised as the most successful company in agriculture, Turisthotel from Zadar taking the tourism award, and Belupo from Koprivnica named the leading company in the manufacturing industry.
According to Fina, Zlatna Bilanca winners are selected using a methodology designed to provide a comprehensive picture of a company’s financial health. The assessment includes investment performance, the ability to meet financial obligations, debt levels, management efficiency, profitability, employee numbers, creditworthiness and overall business reputation.
Of the 166,052 business entities that submitted annual financial statements for 2025, a total of 3,757 met the criteria to qualify for consideration for this year’s Zlatna Bilanca awards.
