After revealing his list of the top 15 fighters of all time on Twitter, legendary MMA fighter Khabib Nurmagomedov has created a buzz among fans.

Khabib, who retired from MMA with a perfect record of 29-0 in 2020, is widely acknowledged as one of the best fighters in UFC history.

Nonetheless, the question remains: who does he believe is the greatest fighter of all time?

Khabib believes Fedor Emelianenko and Jon Jones are tied for the greatest to ever do it.

In second place is the legendary Georges St-Pierre, a fighter whom Khabib has expressed admiration for on multiple occasions, followed by Anderson Silva, Demetrious Johnson, and Daniel Cormier.

There was also room on the list of 15 for two legendary Croatians.

Khabib has put Croatian-American heavyweight star Stipe Miocic in 14th place together with Mirko ‘Cro Cop’ Filipović.

Miocic knocks down Cormier

Miocic is still regarded as the best heavyweight in MMA history. He has the most consecutive title defenses in UFC heavyweight history after defending his title four times against Alistair Overeem, Junior dos Santos, Francis Ngannou and Daniel Cormier.

‘Cro Cop’ retired back in 2019 at the age of 44 and went down as one of the greatest heavyweights in kickboxing and mixed martial arts history.

He was the 2006 Pride Open-Weight Grand Prix Champion and the 2012 K-1 World Grand Prix Champion becoming the second fighter in the world to win mixed martial arts and kickboxing championships and tournaments. He is also a former IGF Champion.

Significantly, Conor McGregor, who has been a long-standing rival of his, was excluded from the list, likely due to their heated feud and the notorious post-fight brawl at UFC 229.
