KARLOVAC – The final weekend of August will once again bring one of Croatia’s best-known beer festivals to Karlovac, with the 39th edition of Beer Days (Dani piva) taking place from 28 August to 1 September 2026.

The five-day festival will transform the historic Zvijezda area in the heart of Karlovac into a major entertainment and gastronomic destination, with two festival stages, concerts, food and a dedicated beer zone.

The opening night will feature a concert by Severina, while Minea will perform on the Gastro Stage. The programme across the five days will also include performances by Petar Grašo, Hiljson, Baks, Jonathan, Indira and Klapa Šufit.

Alongside the music programme, visitors will be able to explore a wide gastronomic offer, ranging from traditional Croatian specialities to modern street food.

The festival’s World of Beer zone will bring together domestic and international beer brands, offering visitors the opportunity to discover different beer styles and products, including some available exclusively in the festival area.

Beer has a long history in Karlovac, with the city’s brewing tradition stretching back more than 170 years. The festival combines that heritage with gastronomy, tourism and entertainment, attracting tens of thousands of visitors from Croatia and abroad each year.

Organisers have also announced measures to make the event more accessible. Free transport will be available, alongside a special festival train operating on the Zagreb–Karlovac–Zagreb route.

A half-litre of draught Karlovačko beer will cost €2.50 throughout the festival.
