CroatiaTop Gear presenter Jeremy Clarkson has been impressed with Croatia’s beauty, tweeting his thoughts to over 3.5 million fans on Twitter just hours after arriving in Zagreb where he will film Top Gear Live tomorrow…

“We’ve always known Croatia’s coast is pretty. But inland, it’s absolutely beautiful,” the Top Gear star tweeted on Wednesday, after arriving in Zagreb on Tuesday night.

Clarkson and co host Richard Hammond spent most of their first night in Croatia watching the World Cup second round match between USA and Belgium, whilst co host Peter May decided to catch up some sleep. Clarkson and the crew will film the show, based on their hugely successful Top Gear show, at the Arena in the capital Zagreb on Thursday.

Croatian Top Gear fans can expect everything from theatrical shows in the Arena, to track based festivals and stand alone motoring stunts during the live show. Top Gear, which has been running since 2002, is estimated to have around 350 million views per week in 170 different countries.
