Jadrolinija to Invest Close to €300 Million on New Boats

Croatia’s largest ferry company is set to invest close to 300 million euros on a new fleet…

Jadrolinija will invest 281 million euros on 26 new ferries, of which 23 will be new builds, daily Novi List reports.

The 10-year investment plan will evenutally bring the number of boats in Jadrolinija’s float to 44, down from the current 50.

Although the number of ships will decrease, the capacity will not. Jadrolinja’s current capacity of 28,020 passengers and 3,924 vehicles on its 50 boats, will increase in the next 10 years to 31,377 passengers and 4,710 vehicles on 44 boats.
