Ivo Karlović Sets World Record on Way to ATP Semi-Final in Germany

The 208cm 36-year-old has beaten Czech Republic’s Tomas Berdych 7-5, 6-7 (8), 6-3 to advance through to the semi-final. Karlović also managed to write his name into the record books during the match. The big-serving Croat whacked down 45 aces in the match, the most ever in a 3-set match in the history of the game.

Karlović will play the winner of the Roger Federer / Florian Mayer match in the semi-final.
