On 31 May 2015 Wine Day 2015 will be held on the wine road of the Buje area in north-western Istria. Wine Day, which has traditionally taken place on the last Sunday in May, is a day where local wine makers in the area open their cellar doors to the public to give them a behind-the-scenes look into their operations.
Guests can check out how some of Istria’s internationally acclaimed wine, such as the white Istrian Malvasia, the Muscat of Momjan, and the red teran is produced, as well as the best part – sampling a glass or four.
Apart from being a celebration of the culture of wine, Wine Day Istria is a relaxed, social event set in the perfect setting of the picturesque Istrian landscape.
