Israeli Culture Week Starts In Croatia

The Israeli Culture Week opened in Croatia last night (Saturday) when the 7th Jewish Film Festival started at Zagreb’s Cinema Europa.

A promotion of the Israeli culture will be presented through art, music, food and film in Croatia during the week. “This is a gift to Zagreb and Croatia ahead of its accession to the European Union, where it has always belonged”, said Israels ambassador to Croatia Yosef Amrani at last night’s opening, adding that the culture week is an opportunity to strengthen Croatian-Israeli cooperation in culture, the economy, education and science.
