The off-season is a time when sport stars like to head to their favourite destination to unwind before the start of another season…

Already a number of Croatia’s leading sport stars, including Luka Modrić, Darijo Srna and Borna Ćorić have spent the short time off that they have had on Croatia’s stunning Adriatic coast, but the beauty of the coast is also attracting overseas stars.

Currently chilling on the coast are world number one tennis player Novak Đoković, NBA bothers Brook and Robin Lopez, and German international Matts Hummels.

Đoković, who started his holiday by watching the Croatia Open final in Umag, is relaxing on the Kornati islands. The Lopez brothers are currently holidaying together in Dubrovnik, whilst Hummels is in Zadar, where he recently purchased property.
