They have been described by Spain’s Rolling Stone magazine as the ‘new sensation of the national soul scene’ and ‘pure dynamite on stage’…
The Excitements, who are currently one of the most ‘exciting’ soul attractions going around, will be performing in Zagreb for the first time this weekend. The band, who are originally from Barcelona, will play at Tucman in Zagreb on Saturday 21 November.
The Excitements, who were founded in 2010, have performed their Rhythm ‘n’ Blues and Soul cocktail to a number of festivals all over Europe. The band is strongly influenced by the best Afro-American music from the past century, bypassing the modern soul-funk trends and focusing on old school soul sounds.
The band is formed by the explosive lead vocals of Koko-Jean Davis, Albert Greenlight on lead guitar, Adrià Gual on rhythm guitar, Jose Luis Garrido on drums, Daniel Segura on bass, Nico Rodríguez Jauregui on baritone sax and Jordi Blanch on tenor sax.
