International Companies After Croatian IT Talent

International companies are increasingly trying to poach the best of Croatia’s IT talent, according to leading job portal posao.hr. Everyday more and more jobs are being advertised by foreign clients on the site, with more than half of the jobs advertised outside of Croatia.
Although Croatia does not have a large number of IT experts, foreign companies have decided to look in the relatively cheap labour market of Croatia for staff.
“Lately in Croatia there has been noticeable demand for IT staff, which are hard to find. Also, more and more IT professionals who have had the opportunity to work in a company, are leaving and finding clients and working for themselves.” said posao.hr director Sasa Jurkovic.
Countries which have shown the most interest in Croatia’s IT experts include Germany, Italy, UAE, and Oman, with software developers, back and front end developers, PHP programmers, android developers and flash programmers the most sought after.
