IKEA Zagreb on Track to Hit Annual Turnover Target

IKEA opened its first store in Croatia in the capital Zagreb last August, and since have had an average of around 7,000 customers a day. The store, located in Rugvica just west of Zagreb, had its one millionth customer after just 142 days in business.

Platzer says that the forecasted turnover for the first year in Croatia of around 60 million euros should be hit. The store turned over a massive 3.5 million euros in its first 10 days of business. Plans for stores in Split and Rijeka have been talked about but no date has been confirmed.
