History Making Mandzukic Snubs Croatian Media

Croatia and Bayern Munich striker Mario Mandzukic became the first Croatian last night to score in a Champions League final when he opened the scoring at Wembley in London last night in his sides 2:1 victory over Borussia Dortmund.

An excited Mandzukic, who was quick to drape a Croatian flag around himself after the win, was in no mood however to give an interview with Croatian media. “I am not making any comments to Croatian media until they apologise. I am very happy tonight and I don’t care about you,” said Mandzukic, writes daily Vecernji list.

Mandzukic, who was not happy with articles posted in Croatian media reporting on his interview with Tuttosport on the day of the final which he says were made up, was quick to post on his Twitter profile a photo from the changing rooms with him holding the famous “big ears”.
