American singer-song writer and actor Wiz Khalifa has been confirmed for the Fresh Island Festival. Khalifa will perform for the first time in Croatia on 12 July at club Papaya on Pag.

“I have heard a lot of great things about Croatia from my colleagues. I will stay on Pag a few days as it seems an ideal place for a holiday. My performance at Fresh Island Festival will be my most relaxed performance on my European tour,” Khalifa said.

Khalifa is currently one of the most popular hip-hop artists going around after his chart-topper ‘See You Again’ from the film ‘Furious7’. His song equalled Eminem’s record of 12 weeks at No.1 and had over 1.2 billion hits on YouTube. His other hits include ‘Black and Yellow’, ‘Work Hard, Play Hard’ and ‘Remember You’.
