Hajduk Split’s Brazilian Imports Head Home Without Playing A Game

Two Brazilian footballers from the famous Fluminense football club who arrived at Croatian club Hajduk Split at the start of the year are heading back to Brazil after just 3 months at the Split club.

Lucas Patinho (above), who was a U20 Brazilian international, and Gabriel Cassio failed to break into Hajduk Split’s first team and did not play in an official match for Hajduk Split since their arrival. The two will be on a plane back to Brazil at the end of the week.

Late last year Hajduk Split and Fluminense agreed terms to have a feeder club system and the option of more Brazilians arriving in the summer is likely.
