Italian club Udinese have signed Hajduk Split teenage sensation Andrija Balić…

The 19-year-old, who has been voted among the world’s top teenagers, will move to Udinese for 3 million euros plus bonuses, index.hr reports.

“First of all I want to wish my teammates luck. I am excited, but there is always a feeling of sadness when you have to leave,” he told Index.hr on Saturday whilst the final details of his move were done.

Balić, who has been dubbed the ‘new Pirlo’ by Udinese, says he is determined to succeed at his new club.

“It is nice to hear (they call me that), but it is also a burden. You need every day to give more and more to show. It will be difficult and exhausting, but you need to learn to battle the pressure and use that to your advantage,” said Balić, whose transfer will be a much-needed injection for his club.

Balić appeared 45 times for Hajduk, scoring 10 times.
