Great Start To 2013 Tourist Season – Dubrovnik 3% Up

If the first couple days of the year are anything to go by, then Croatia is in for a bumper 2013 tourist season.
The amount of tourists in the southern Dalmatian hotspot of Dubrovnik in the first day of 2013 was up 3% from 2012, says the Dubrovnik Tourist Board.
Tourists from Turkey led the way, followed by local Croats, Bosnians, Slovenians, Albanians, Bulgarians and French. 17 hotels are open in Dubrovnik and they all say that were particularly pleased with the start to the new year.
