Goran Ivanišević Lands Croatian Tennis Association Job

 

 

CroatiaLegendary Croatian tennis player Goran Ivanišević has landed a role with the Croatian Tennis Association (HTS). The 2001 Wimbledon champion and former world number 2 will be working with the up and coming young talent of the country.

“I will be the coordinator of all national selections, except the Davis Cup team. It is what I want to do, to work with tennis players from 18, 16, 14 and 12 years of age. I am happy to be working with the youth. Željko Krajan will remain as Davis Cup selector and we are all happy and satisfied,” the big serving lefty told daily Jutarnji list.

Ivanišević is currently in Paris where he is training with Croatia’s current number 1 Marin Čilić, who will make his return to tennis today after four months out serving a doping ban.
