Gay Writer Cycling From Russia to Croatia to Raise Awareness About Russia’s Anti-Gay Laws

A 32-year-old gay Russian writer will cycle more than a 1,000 miles across Europe to Croatia to raise awareness about Russia’s ”gay propaganda’ laws. Desaint, who will depart Russia on 15 September, should arrive at his final destination – Croatia – on 3 October. Desaint, who will keep a diary along the way as he crosses most of eastern Europe on the way to Croatia, told Gay Star News that anti-gay laws in Russia are make everyday life harder and harder for gays. cycling
