Fuliranje Summer Sunset returns to Zagreb with top street food, cocktails and summer vibes

From 30 June to 6 July, Trg Josipa Jurja Strossmayera will transform into a vibrant open-air festival for the return of Fuliranje Summer Sunset – a warm-weather edition of the city’s popular winter event.

This “mini Fuliranje” promises a week of top food, refreshing drinks and relaxed summer fun.

Croatian chefs including Ivan Pažanin, Mario Mihelj, and Michelin-starred Ivan Temšić will serve up creative bites, alongside popular local vendors like Jellyfish in Space, Gdje je Jura, Pastamisee, and Kawaii.

For the first time at the festival, acclaimed Savica-based restaurant Makamana will showcase its signature flair.

Highlights include lamb peka in a panini sandwich, tuna tacos with Croatian wasabi, and flatbread with chicken and chipotle mayo – each dish a visual and flavourful experience.

Pasta lovers can indulge at Pastamisee, where fresh pasta is tossed in large Grana Padano cheese wheels, featuring favourites like Cacio e pepe and truffle pasta.

Drinks will flow freely thanks to GingleBells and Mojito & Corona Bar, offering bespoke cocktails and bar takeovers to keep things cool.

Beyond the food and drink, Fuliranje Summer Sunset is all about atmosphere. With daily DJ sets curated by Ozren Kanceljak, fairy lights, and plenty of chill-out space, the square will become a summer sanctuary for locals and visitors alike.
