The summer edition of Fuliranje Summer Oasis has opened in central Zagreb, transforming the city’s Strossmayer Square (Trg Josipa Jurja Strossmayera) into a week-long open-air gastro and nightlife destination.
Running from 29 June to 5 July, the festival has quickly established itself as one of the key summer city events, offering international street food, signature chef-led concepts, cocktails and nightly DJ entertainment, all set against ongoing high temperatures across the Croatian capital.
From Asia to Latin America, and from the United States to the Mediterranean, visitors can sample global flavours across nine food stands, alongside curated drinks and an evolving evening party programme.
On its opening day, Fuliranje Summer Oasis presented a wide range of global street food concepts designed to reflect international culinary influences in one location.
Among the most notable is Burger Institute, where chef Mate Janković introduced the new Pesto Smash burger, combining beef, cheddar, garlic mayonnaise, cheese spread, basil, pumpkin seeds, rocket and cherry tomatoes.

The drinks programme is led by Mojito Central Bar, where bartender Filip Lipnik has developed a special summer cocktail menu. One of the standout drinks is a watermelon-based mojito, created specifically for high temperatures.
Ginglebells also offers a range of signature cocktails, including berry mojito variations combining fresh fruit and classic mojito profiles.
Beyond food and drinks, Fuliranje Summer Oasis operates as an evening entertainment space, with daily DJ sets and themed nights including retro programmes, electronic music sessions and guest DJ performances.
The festival’s schedule includes concepts such as warm-up sunset sets, retro nights, and curated party evenings featuring collectives and guest performers, turning Strossmayer Square into an open-air nightlife venue.
