A stroll around Zagreb’s Strossmayer Square is enough to see that Fuliranje, which opened yesterday, has raised the bar once again.
From the scent of slow-cooked buncek and an array of tapas, to the now-famous Matilda Cake and crowds of young and old, this year’s edition promises colour, energy and plenty of festive emotion.
Sixteen food stalls showcase a mix of well-known and new culinary names, offering the most diverse menu Fuliranje has seen so far.
You can sample everything from šiš sausages, buncek, wild game goulash, stuffed peppers and tapas, to tuna goulash, tempura octopus, and street-food favourites such as burgers and pizza.

Creative cocktails and warming winter drinks add to the atmosphere.

Each brings its own playful touch to the table.
The music programme runs daily and caters to every age group. Mondays are dedicated to “Superseniors” in collaboration with the Zagreb Pensioners’ Association, transforming Fuliranje into a lively dance floor with performances by Miro Ungar, Šleper Šlager, Kristijan Beluhan, Ajngemahtec band, Robert Mareković and Swingers band.

Seniors also take to the stage themselves, with the play Doktor Nepalac directed by Vinko Štefanac and a festive performance by KUD Valentinovo.
Tuesdays bring Glazbena kuhinja, Wednesdays break up the work week with Cro-dance parties, and Thursdays heat up with fiery Latin rhythms and the return of free dance workshops once popular at Fiesta Latina.
On Fridays, Neno Martinović’s Pepermint fresh funk sets the tone for the weekend, while Saturdays celebrate female artists as part of the Ladies First programme, opening with DJ Ela and featuring Zborkinja and the SVE za NJU dance group.

On 19 December the group E.T. will play, while the New Year’s Eve open-air party will be led by Zoster.
Fuliranje once again blends festive fun with strong humanitarian and eco-conscious values, supporting causes such as women’s cancer prevention through its
Ladies First initiative and daily food donations in partnership with Crumbs, while also raising funds for programmes aiding people with disabilities and vulnerable youth.
