ZAGREB, May 4, 2025 – Croatian gaming café brand Friendly Fire has made a historic leap on the global stage by signing its largest franchise deal to date.
The agreement includes the opening of 100 new franchise units across the United Kingdom, Spain, Poland, and Ukraine.
The franchise has been granted to a renowned operator group with extensive experience in managing world-famous franchise brands, including Domino’s Pizza, further confirming the seriousness and potential of this partnership.
The estimated total value of this expansion ranges between €10 million and €15 million, making it one of the largest franchise projects in the history of Croatia’s entertainment industry.
The rollout begins in Warsaw, where the first locations have already been selected and are set to open in the coming months. The objective is to establish Friendly Fire as the leading gaming café network in each of the new markets through phased implementation.

Friendly Fire is already operating successfully in Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Austria, Slovenia, and Mexico, and this agreement not only strengthens its position in the European market but also makes it the fastest-growing gaming café brand in the world.
With the number of signed and announced franchise agreements, Friendly Fire now holds the title of the largest Croatian franchise of all time.
The brand currently has over 150,000 registered members, and its uniqueness lies in its innovative approach to gaming.
Contrary to the common perception that digital games lead to social isolation among young people, Friendly Fire offers a space for socialization, talent development, and shared gaming experiences, redefining social interaction for the digital generation.
“People don’t come to Friendly Fire just to play games – they can do that at home – they come to hang out, showcase their skills, and be part of a community. That’s the essence of our success,” says David Kosir, founder of Friendly Fire.
