Zagreb’s electric vehicle service, Fulir, is back on the streets. From 27 April, locals and visitors can once again enjoy free rides through the city’s pedestrian zone every day from 8 AM to 8 PM.
First introduced last year as a pilot project, Fulir has been used by around 9,000 people already.
The service was named after a beloved character from the iconic Zagreb film One Song a Day Takes Mischief Away, adding a nostalgic touch to the initiative.
Mayor Tomislav Tomašević explained that the service is primarily intended for elderly citizens, people with disabilities, and those with limited mobility.
However, it is also available to all residents and tourists who wish to experience the city in a new way.

“Fulir is more than just a transport service. It’s a step towards a more sustainable, accessible, and friendly Zagreb, making everyday life easier and improving the quality of life in the city centre,” said Tomašević.
Each Fulir vehicle can carry five passengers plus the driver. The most popular routes include connections between Frankopanska and Draškovićeva streets, and from Masarykova and Teslina to Tkalčićeva and Kaptol.

Drivers have noted that mornings are especially busy, as many older citizens use the service to visit local markets and go shopping.
To catch a ride, you can call 091 1111 425 or 091 1111 426. Alternatively, simply wave at a passing Fulir – if it’s free, the driver will happily pick you up.
