Croatia celebrate scoring against Brazil
France have climbed to the top of the latest FIFA world rankings released today following a perfect international break.
The French national team moved ahead of Spain after securing victories over Brazil and Colombia during the March international window.
Those results helped France reach 1877.32 points, narrowly overtaking Spain, who now sit second with 1876.40 points.
Argentina dropped to third place in the updated standings, while England and Portugal complete the top five.
Croatia unchanged after Orlando friendlies
Croatia’s position remains unchanged at 11th place in the world, the same ranking the team held before travelling to Florida for two friendly matches.
During the international window, Croatia recorded a victory over Colombia and a defeat against Brazil in Orlando. The win over Colombia added 4.85 ranking points, while the loss to Brazil saw the team lose 4.67 points.
The national side will therefore hold 11th place at least until the next FIFA ranking update in June.
