Fran Brodic Becomes Dinamo Zagreb’s Youngest Debutant In History

One of the brightest young football prospects in Croatia, Fran Brodic, has become the youngest player to make his debut for Croatian champions Dinamo Zagreb on the weekend aged 16-years 3 months and 7 days.

The young Croatia U17 international striker found out the day before Dinamo Zagreb’s league match with Inter Zapresic on Sunday that he was would be in the squad and came on late in the match to beat the record of the club’s youngest debutant previously held by Alen Halilovic.

Brodic’s talent has already been recognised by some of the world’s top clubs. The footballing academies of Manchester United Bayern Munich, AC Milan, Arsenal and Inter Milan had all expressed interest in the talented Croat.
