88-year-old great-grandmother Mara Bodrožić-Selak showed this weekend that you can never be too old to support your team…

Photos of Bodrožić-Selak at this weekend’s Adriatic derby between Hajduk Split and Rijeka at Split’s Poljud stadium were an internet hit today. Last week Hajduk’s famous supporters’ firm ‘Torcida’ celebrated their 65th birthday, more than 20 years younger than Baba (Grandma) Mara, and she decided to celebrate the occasion by going to watch Sunday’s derby with her son, two grandsons and great-grandson, Slobodna Dalmacija reported.

Baba Mara’s prayers she said in the stands for her team did not help as Rijeka comfortably won the match 3-0.
