The popular ‘Flavours of Pelješac’ summer festival returns

OREBIĆ, 8 June 2026 – One of Orebić’s best-known summer events, Flavours of Pelješac, is returning for another season, bringing together local gastronomy, wines, music and community spirit on the Pelješac Peninsula.

First launched in 2014, the popular event has become a staple of the destination’s summer programme. This year, it will take place every Wednesday from 10 June until 16 September.

Over the years, Flavours of Pelješac has attracted both visitors and local residents with its combination of live entertainment, local products and a relaxed Mediterranean atmosphere.

Local winemakers and family farms traditionally take part, showcasing wines, liqueurs, jams and other homemade products.

The event also maintains its charitable element. The local Cancer League prepares a selection of sweet and savoury specialities, with all proceeds supporting humanitarian activities.

This year’s programme introduces a new addition in the form of Flavours of Pelješac / Fishermen’s Nights. Four events will be held under the new format, offering visitors the chance to enjoy freshly grilled sardines alongside the existing food and wine selection.

Two Fishermen’s Nights will take place at new locations. Lovište will host an event on 22 July featuring a performance by Giuliano and his band Diktatori, while Trstenik will stage its evening on 29 July with live music from Group Viva.

Providing the soundtrack throughout the summer will be the band Gramophonix, known for its mix of Croatian and international hits. Traditional Dalmatian music will also be performed by Group Marinero and Naro, whose repertoire features accordion, guitar and classic Dalmatian songs.

The event continues to strengthen its reputation as one of Pelješac’s most visited summer gatherings, combining local gastronomy, quality wines, live music and charitable initiatives into a distinctive experience for visitors.

Meanwhile, the Sounds of Dalmatia programme also begins this week. Held every Sunday throughout the summer, the series will celebrate traditional Dalmatian singing.

Klapa Nava and Klapa Geta will alternate performances during the season. The programme opens with Klapa Nava performing at the Church of Nuncijata in Orebić on Sunday at 8 pm.
