First M·A·C Store in Croatia Opening this Month

Last year Croatia Week reported that M·A·C (Make-up Art Cosmetics), one of the most famous make-up brands in the world, would be opening a store in Croatia. Now we can reveal that the doors to the first M·A·C store in the country will open in Zagreb this month…

M·A·C will open on 23 January right in the heart of downtown Zagreb in Preobraženska street. The store will be the biggest M·A·C store in south-east Europe. M.A.C’s motto is ‘All ages. All races. All sexes’ and so their make-up is designed to be accessible for all.

M·A·C Cosmetics was founded in Toronto, Ontario, Canada by Frank Toskan and Frank Angelo in 1984, with the first U.S MAC store opened in 1991, in New York. In 1996 Estée Lauder Companies acquired a controlling interest in MAC. Multiple Celebrities have endorsed the MAC products, such as: RuPaul, Lady Gaga, Cyndi Lauper, Elton John, Nicki Minaj, Christina Aguilera, Rihanna, Boy George, Ricky Martin, Dita Von Teese, and Mary J. Blige.
