ZAGREB, Dec 6 (Hina) – The cultural and hospitality programme called “Advent in Zagreb”, which attracted about 140,000 visitors to the Croatian capital during the Advent, Christmas, and New Year period over the past several years, is now documented in the book titled “Advent u Zagrebu/Advent in Zagreb”.
The launch of the 128-page book prepared by the authors — journalist Hrvoje Decak and photographer Romeo Ibrisevic — took place in the Croatian capital on 2 December.
The editor of the book, which contains 120 photographs, is Petra Somek, and Sandra Mladjenovic translated it into English.
The book, published by the Meridijani publishing house, also gives an overview of Advent and Christmas customs, history, and legends in Croatia.
The book will be available in bookstores or direct from the publisher. More information on the email: [email protected]
