ZAGREB, Dec 1 (Hina) – The humanitarian race called “Zagreb Firefighter Stair Challenge 2018” was organised on Saturday in the Croatian capital by local firefighters in a drive to collect donations for seriously ill children, and apart from Croatia, the action brought together participants from Slovenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Norway.

About 200 firefighters climbed the 31 floors of the VMD office building in Strojarska Street, downtown Zagreb, to test their preparedness and raise funds for the purchase of aspirators for sick children and other equipment to alleviate their condition.

This humanitarian tower running was organised in cooperation with an association called “Udruga Kolibrici” that collects funds for seriously ill children.
