Croatia’s top heavyweight boxer has answered Mario Mandžukić’s (34) call for a sparring partner.
Last month, the former Croatia striker posted a photo on Instagram in the gym wearing boxing gloves.
“You’ve got any good ideas for a sparring partner for Mr. No Good?,” he asked.
One of the first comments on the post came from none other than professional boxer Filip Hrgović (28).
“King, I’m waiting for you. I hope you will be able to offer some resistance,” Hrgović wrote.
Today, the pair got together in Zagreb.
“Finally Filip Hrgović found a worthy sparring partner. It was a pleasure to meet one of the best heavyweight boxers in the world, and watch his training session. Hrga, I wish you the best in your future matches – seeing how hard you work, success is guaranteed,” Mandžukić wrote on Instagram.

Mandžukić is a big fighting fan and is a friend and supporter of MMA legend Stipe Miočić.
Hrgović, who is 10-0 in his professional career, will return to the ring on September 26th against Ondrej Pala at the Struer Energi Park in Denmark.
