Fewer Cruisers This Year on Croatian Coast

In the first six months of 2014 there were 13% less cruise liners on the Croatian coast. In June 107 cruisers arrived, down 10% from the same month last year. Passenger numbers were also down with 163,700 passengers on those cruisers, down 11% from June 2013. On year-to-date there was a drop of 16%, down to 372,700 passengers who arrived in the country on cruisers in the first six months of the year. The total number of cruisers from January to the end of June totalled 266, 39 or 13% less than last year.

The origins, or flag which the boats sailed under, had not varied too much from last year, with Malta (56), Bahamas (50), Panama (37), and Italy (36) dominating the list again.
