Festival of Tolerance Opens in Zagreb

The festival, opened by its director, Oscar award-winning Branko Lustig, will this year be dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the film “Schindler’s List”, which Lustig produced. Over 70 short and feature-length documentary films focusing on the suffering of Jews in World War II, discrimination, and intolerance towards ethnic, religious and sexual minorities, will be shown through the week-long festival in Zagreb.

Schindler’s List’s star Ralph Fiennes will make a special appearance in Zagreb on Thursday, here he will attend a screening of the film. (pic: JFF)
