Fans Vote Mandzukic As Croatia Player Of The Year

He was recently voted by a popular German portal as the transfer of the year in Germany, now Mario Mandzukic has been voted by Croatian football supporters club “Uvijek vjerni” (always faithful), as its most “fiery” and best Croatian representative of 2012.

Mandzukic’s performances at Euro this summer in Poland, where he scored 2 goals against Ireland and 1 against Italy, played a huge part in the Bayern Munich striker winning the award.

Past winners of the title have been Darijo Srna, Josip Simunic and Vedran Runje.
