Fake Cops Go on Stealing Spree

policePolice in the Croatian capital Zagreb have arrested three men posing as police officers who have this month been on a stealing spree around the capital…

The three men, aged 30, 24 and 23, have stolen over 45,000 kuna (6,000 euros) worth of goods, including computers, televisions, money and mobile phones over the past few weeks after posing as police officers to get let inside apartments.

On Thursday the group entered the apartment of a 56-year-old Chinese national, and when the woman become suspicious of how their were acting, she ran out of her apartment and begun to scream. When neighbours reacted the police were called and they quickly caught up with the offenders.
