English Media Worried “Blind” Croat To Ref Tottenham Match

British daily tabloid newspaper the Daily Mail have exposed Croatian Ivan Bebek, who will referee tonight’s Europa League match between Tottenham Hotspurs and Inter Milan. The Daily Mail have reminded Tottenham fans about a present Bebek was sent by frustrated fans of Croatian side Hajduk Split after he missed a penalty decision in the recent Croatian derby against Dinamo Zagreb.

“Fans in his home country were so outraged by referee Ivan Bebek’s decisions in a recent game between Split and Dinamo Zagreb they sent a package to him to the Croatian Football Federation which included the white stick, a ref jersey and a rival team scarf. Bebek admitted after the game on his Facebook profile that in hindsight he failed to call a clear penalty in favour of Hajduk Split. The frustrated Split fans have now also forwarded on pictures of the package to English side Tottenham as a warning to them about the ref ahead of tomorrow’s crunch Europa league game.” wrote the Daily Mail.
