€55m infrastructure project to be launched in Karlovac and Duga Resa this spring

ZAGREB, 2 February (Hina) – Work on a HRK 413 million (€55m) infrastructure project begins in Karlovac and Duga Resa this spring, Mayor Damir Mandić and the CEO of the local water supply and sewage company, Katarina Malenica, announced on Tuesday.

The project includes the construction of a 65-km-long sewage network, reconstruction of a 7-km-long sewage network, reconstruction of a 56-km-long water supply network, construction of 27 pumping stations and a solar sludge drying plant, and purchase of five vehicles for drainage system maintenance.

The project should be completed in three years.
