Currently Dukat, who have invested around 1 million euros in upgrading production plants since December 2013, export yoghurts and desserts to 56 countries around the world, and this week announced that the list will soon rise. The company is planning to export to a number of African countries, South America, China and Russia.
The Croatia-based company was the country’s biggest dairy company before it sold to French Lactalis for around $370 million in 2007. Long-lasting milk desserts made at Dukat’s Zagreb plant are being sold in markets around the world under the ‘Lactel’ and ‘Parmalat’ brands.
