Dubrovnik Airport summer flight schedule starts with new routes and 4 million seats

The summer season at Ruđer Bošković Airport in Dubrovnik traditionally brings the busiest period of the year, and the summer flight schedule, which kicks off today, further expands the network of destinations while increasing overall operations.

Running from the end of March until the end of October, the timetable offers passengers a wide range of flights, making travel planning easier and strengthening Dubrovnik’s connections with Europe and beyond.

This year’s summer schedule introduces several new routes and additional frequencies, further improving accessibility to Dubrovnik.

Low-cost carrier Ryanair, which operates a base in Dubrovnik, is launching new routes to Budapest and Gdańsk. With these additions, the airline will operate a total of 24 routes from Dubrovnik this summer.

Hungarian airline Wizz Air is also expanding its network by introducing flights to Budapest, Gdańsk and Cluj-Napoca, strengthening links between Dubrovnik and Central and Eastern Europe.

Croatia’s national carrier Croatia Airlines will introduce a new twice-weekly service to Stuttgart.

Additional seasonal connections will also boost Dubrovnik’s network. From 25 May to 28 September the city will again be linked with Tel Aviv, while Aegean Airlines will introduce flights to Thessaloniki, improving connectivity with Greece.

Several airlines have also announced increased flight frequencies during the peak summer months.

Among those expanding their operations are Ryanair, Wizz Air and KLM, reflecting strong and growing demand as the tourist season in Dubrovnik continues to extend beyond the traditional summer peak.

Tour operator TUI Group will again operate homeport cruise operations from Dubrovnik this year, ensuring the city remains one of the important starting points for Mediterranean cruise itineraries.

The continued partnership contributes significantly to tourism traffic and reinforces Dubrovnik’s role as a regional transport hub.

One of the most significant elements of the summer schedule is the daily connection with the United States.

Flights between Dubrovnik and New York City via Newark Liberty International Airport will operate daily from early May until the end of September, with four additional rotations planned for October.

The transatlantic service underlines the growing importance of the American market and confirms Dubrovnik’s rising status as a destination of global interest.

According to the current summer timetable, 3,984,980 seats will be available to passengers this season.

This represents an increase of 7.5 percent compared to last year, signalling continued growth in demand for travel to Dubrovnik and Croatia, provided global geopolitical conditions remain stable.

The figures point to sustained international interest in the destination and further highlight Dubrovnik’s position as one of the Adriatic’s most important aviation gateways. You can see the full flight schedule here
