Drunk New Zealander Nicked in Croatia

A 19-year-old tourist from New Zealand has been arrested in Cavtat on Croatia’s Dalmatian coast for stealing a Mercedes badge off a motor vehicle on Wednesday, say police.

After handing over the sign, the drunk kiwi then proceeded to make a scene, refusing to hand over his ID to officers and attempting to take the Mercedes sign out of the hands of the officer.

The teenager, who was under the influence of alcohol, was taken to the local station and charged with disorderly behaviour.
