16 April 2025 – Dubrovnik Airport has announced a major step forward in improving year-round connectivity.
For the first time ever, German leisure carrier Discover Airlines will operate flights between Dubrovnik and Frankfurt throughout the winter season.
Starting this year, the route will run three times a week, beyond the usual summer schedule, Dubrovnik Airport said.
Discover Airlines, part of the Lufthansa Group, is based in Frankfurt and serves popular leisure destinations around the world.
The winter connection to Frankfurt marks an important milestone for Dubrovnik, helping to boost tourism and travel even in the off-season.
Meanwhile, Dubrovnik Airport has also kicked off its summer flight schedule, which runs from early April until 25 October. This season, over 40 airlines will link Dubrovnik with more than 65 destinations across Europe and North America.
Among the highlights, United Airlines will once again operate daily direct flights between Dubrovnik and New York from early May to the end of September. In October, the service will continue four times a week.
Swiss Air has added five weekly flights to Zürich, while easyJet has launched a new route to Bordeaux. Ryanair has expanded its network too, now flying to Gothenburg, Katowice, and Marseille twice weekly.
Several other airlines, including Air France, KLM, Turkish Airlines, Austrian Airlines and easyJet, will increase their number of weekly flights during the busy summer months.
