Dinamo Zagreb’s U-15 side has beaten English side Arsenal to make the final of the Nike Manchester United Premier Cup in Manchester.
After scores were locked at 0:0, Dinamo Zagreb had the better of the penalty shoot-out (5:3) against the north London side, setting up a date in this afternoon’s final with Italian giants AC Milan. Dinamo Zagreb will have the physiological edge in the final, having beaten AC Milan in group phase. Dinamo also beat Argentina’s Boca Juniors on the way to the final. With sides like Real Madrid and Manchester United also at the tournament, what ever happens in today’s final it has been a huge achievement for the Maksimir club and the future looks bright for Croatian football.
